Skilled Independent Visa
This permanent work visa is for skilled workers from overseas who meet the required points on the General Skilled Migration Points Test. Applicants for this Australian skilled visa are required to have qualifications in nominated occupations which are in shortage in Australia.
This work visa may be applied for inside or outside Australia; however, applicants must be outside Australia at the time the visa is granted. All applicants must meet health and character criteria. Visa applicants will also need to meet the English language requirement and be under the age of 45 at the time of visa application.
