Schools Sector Visa
This student visa is designed for international students applying to study in Australia at school. The main course of study in Australia must be a primary school course OR a secondary school course, including junior and senior secondary OR an approved secondary school exchange program. This student visa allows applicants to live in Australia for the duration of their course.
Before applying for this student visa, applicants must have applied for and have been accepted to study full-time at an educational institution in Australia. This visa may be applied for inside or outside Australia and all applicants must meet health and character criteria. Amongst other criteria, applicants for this student visa must meet English language requirements and have suitable funds to cover their basic financial requirements (such as course fees, living costs and travel costs).
