Business Owner Visa
These business visas are designed for successful business owners who intend to work in Australia – have an ownership interest in an Australian business/es, use their skills in the operation of this business/es and participate in the business at a senior management level.
These business visas may be applied for inside or outside Australia and all visa applicants must be less than 45 years old (less than 55 years old for the State/Territory sponsored visa) and meet health and character criteria. Certain business visa applicants will also need to meet the English language requirement.

State/Territory Sponsorship

Business Owner
This Australian business visa is for people who have a successful business career, and have a genuine and realistic commitment to work in Australia as an owner in a new or existing business in Australia.
State/Territory Sponsored Business Owner
This Australian business visa is for people sponsored by a state or territory of Australia. Applicants must have a successful business career, and a genuine and realistic commitment to work in Australia as an owner in a new or existing business in Australia.
Established Business in Australia
This permanent business visa is for people who, as a temporary resident, have established a business in Australia, and have a proven ownership interest in one or more successful businesses in Australia. Applicants must have been actively involved in the management of their business/es. A pass mark in the business skills points test is required for this visa.
State/Territory Sponsored Regional Established Business in Australia
This permanent Australian business visa is for people who, as a temporary resident, have a proven ownership interest in one or more successful businesses in a designated area of Australia. State/Territory sponsorship must be obtained for this visa. Applicants must have been actively involved in the management of their business/es. A pass mark in the business skills points test is required for this visa.
