Australian Relative Visa
These relative visas allow applicants to live in Australia with their Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or Eligible New Zealand citizen relative. This includes spouse (including de-facto), child (including adopted child), parent, sibling (including full and half), grandchild, aunt, uncle, niece, or nephew. Step-relatives are also included. All applicants must meet health and character criteria.

REMAINING RELATIVE VISA
This relative visa is for those applicants who would like to live in Australia and who have no near relatives other than those usually resident in Australia. The Australian relative must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or Eligible New Zealand citizen.
To be eligible for this visa:
- you must have a brother, sister, parent (or step-equivalent) who is an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or Eligible New Zealand citizen usually resident in Australia
- you and your spouse must have no brothers, sisters, non-dependent children, parents (or step-equivalents) other than those living in Australia.
AGED DEPENDENT RELATIVE VISA
This relative visa is for those aged applicants who are reliant upon an Australian citizen, permanent resident or Eligible New Zealand citizen relative for financial support in order to meet basic needs for food, shelter and clothing.
CHILD VISA
These visas are for children under 18 years of age and allow them to migrate to Australia and live in Australia permanently. There are a range of visas including Child visa, Orphan Relative visa and Dependent Child.
ADOPTION VISA
This visa is for children from overseas, under 18 years of age, who are in the process or have been adopted under certain circumstances. The applicant for an Australian Adoption Visa must be adopted, or in the process of being adopted, by an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or Eligible New Zealand citizen and be outside Australia. Evidence must be provided showing that the adoption has been legally approved.
CARER VISA
These visas are designed to allow family members of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to remain living in Australia as the carer of that person.
