AudID or Defense Sector Visa
This student visa is designed for international students who undertake any full-time course of study or training under a scholarship scheme or training program sponsored by the Australian government agency AusAID or by the Australian Department of Defence. This student visa allows applicants to stay in Australia for the duration of their course.
Before applying for this student visa, applicants must have applied for and have been accepted to study full-time at an educational institution in Australia. This visa may be applied for inside or outside Australia and all applicants must meet health and character criteria. Amongst other criteria, applicants for this student visa must meet English language requirements and have suitable funds to cover their basic financial requirements (such as course fees, living costs and travel costs).
